A quick return mechanism is an apparatus to produce a reciprocating motion in which the time taken for travel in return stroke is less than in the forward stroke. It is driven by a circular motion source (typically a motor of some sort) and uses a system of links with three turning pairs and a sliding pair. Quick return is a common feature of tools in which the action is performed in only one direction of the stroke, such as shapers and powered saws, because it allows less time to be spent on returning the tool to its initial position.

Some parts cannot be drilled using fixed drills due to low space between drill bit and drill bed. We need to use hand drills in such cases but hand drills have alignment problems while drilling. So here we propose a 360 degree flexible drill that can be mounted on a table or wall and can be used to drill holes horizontally, vertically or even upside down. So this makes it possible for easy drilling in even complicated parts and surfaces a supporting structure to design and fabricate a drill for easy drilling operations.

Hot plate welding, also called heated tool welding, is a thermal welding technique for joining thermoplastics. Hot plate welding machines are generally operated by pneumatic, hydraulic or electromechanical controls. Machines can be configured to perform welds with the faying surface in either the horizontal or vertical position. Longer components such as pipes are more commonly welded in the horizontal position whereas moldings with internal fittings such as a starter battery are welded in the vertical position. A heated tool is placed against or near the two surfaces to be joined in order to melt them. Then, the heat source is removed, and the surfaces are brought together under pressure. Hot plate welding has relatively long cycle times, ranging from 10 seconds to minutes, compared to vibration or ultrasonic welding. However, its simplicity and ability to produce strong joints in almost all thermoplastics make it widely used in mass production and for large structures, like large-diameter plastic pipes. Different inspection techniques are implemented in order to identify various discontinuities or cracks.

Segway is a two-wheeled, self-balancing personal transporter invented by Dean Kamen and brought to market in 2001 as the Segway HT, subsequently as the Segway PT, and manufactured by Segway Inc.. HT is an initialism for “human transporter” and PT for “personal transporter”. Most commonly used Segway is the two-wheel self-balancing Segway, which is known for its zero turn radius. The three-wheel version can move just like the 2-wheel segway. The only difference is that, it replaces complex electronics like accelerometer and gyro with a simple swivel wheel (the third wheel) making it more stable, economical and fail-safe.

The motor is responsible for driving mechanism of conveyor. The strainer attached to the conveyor will collect the wastage from the surroundings and transferred to storage bucket through conveying belt. As today’s era is moving towards being digitized and automated with a great speed, the youth want everything very easily and smart. The main aim of the project is to reduce the man power, time consumption for cleaning the beach. In this project we have automated the operation of beach cleaning with help of a motor and chain drive arrangement.

In general the forklift can be defined as a tool capable of lifting hundreds of kilograms of weight. A forklift is a vehicle similar to a small truck that has two metal forks on the front used to lift cargo. The forklift operator drives the forklift forward until the forks push under the cargo, and can then lift the cargo several feet in the air by operating the forks. The forks, also known as blades or tines, are usually made out of steel and can lift up to a few tons. Forklifts are machines that use levers and/or pulleys to lift significant weights. To enhances the technology further, this prototype module is constructed with remote technology, there by the operator can walk along with the forklift for better visibility & the container can be placed accurately (precision position). This increases the safety of the operator.

Plastering is also essential to give specified strength to the walls; it protects the walls from moisture from both the sides. Wall plastering also gives good look to the walls and ultimately creates best residential condition in the particular room. But in present days wall plastering is being done manually in most of the part of world i.e. the procedure of wall plastering is being done with the assist of labors.
